An Educated Comparison of the Top Dating Sites

OkCupid is my favorite, but is definitely better for younger women. With all the information they give you about members, their great iPhone/Android app (which is much better than other sites apps) and all the interesting questions, OkCupid can become quite addictive!

While most dating sites try to mainly focus on finding longer-lasting relationships, OkCupid goes all over the playing field by letting you specify what you are looking for on your profile, whether it be long-term dating, short-term dating, casual sex, activity partners or all of the above. (And yes, I noticed that a lot of guys in NYC and LA answered the question “How long do you expect your next relationship to last?” with “3 months”!)

Thus, if you find a certain someone that seems promising, there is still a chance that what they’re looking for does not match your commitment desires. Nonetheless, OkCupid gave me a lot of potential matches. Like, almost an overwhelming amount. To the point where I was stacking dates two or three a day…. And if the site deems you particularly “attractive”, they will start showing you others who they found worthy of the complement as well.

An Educated Comparison of the Top Dating Sites

While OkCupid certainly is the best at showing you guys based on your age and location criteria, they also have a very advanced matching system, based on how you answer questions (which you can later re-answer if you change your mind). The site will tell you your percentage match in three categories: Romantic, Enemy and Friendship. You can then review their answers for questions that range anywhere from the simple “Do you often have sex on the first date?” to “Do you see yourself married in three years?” to “What’s more important, passion or dedication?”

One downfall is that most of the men on the site are young and in a lower income bracket than other sites. Expect to see many ‘starving’ artistic types…but that’s to be expected since the site is free.

Another fun part of OkCupid is their “nearby” section. If you’re in the mood to meet someone within the next half hour in your neighborhood, you can easily find someone looking to hang out (or hook up) near you, or send a blast to nearby members, using the website or their app.

Awesome! Thank you for in-depth and honest reviews. All these dating sites are awesome if you want quick hook-ups and short-term relationships. You’ll definitely get your next date through any of these sites but there are people who are interested in long-term relationships and for that, I’d suggest GoMarry.com, one of its kind, marriage only match-making site.

eHarmony is a great dating site! Don’t underestimate that site because you can at least trust the people you talk there because they are very religious.

Funny thing is that I met someone through OkCupid. He said that he has a stable job, and he has a profession. We talked for like 3 weeks because he asked me out. Thank God I was ready for that because I am the one who pays for our food. Take note, it is a fine dining restaurant which cost me 500 bucks. He even borrowed some cash from me for his cab back to his place. What a jerk.

The online dating site is not enough. you have to work hard to find someone you love. I’m not just telling to work your ass off to earn money, but to be the better person.

Go to New York city, and party! You can meet different people there. Native New Yorker, and tourists. Clubbing is great!

Online dating sucks!!!!! They are a bunch of people lying!!!! I really hate them. Don’t use dating sites, because you will end up with a lying partner.

These are good dating sites. I try these, except for the eHarmony, never heard of that. OkCupid is the least because some people there are too young, like 16? Overall, these are great sites. You must try them

Haha! I will share this article with my friend. She badly needs working dating sites. Tinder isn’t working anymore for her.
