  1. Had to subscribe to a lot of newsletters because of work and it got really out of hand with the emails. I honestly hope that sites would only send you about 1 email per week instead of daily. I haven’t really subscribed from Urbanette yet but thanks for informing us about matters like this. Other websites don’t often offer easy unsubscribing. It’s like they will literally hide that option so that they don’t

  2. Well, good thing I always take the time to read stuff like this.

  3. They really have a secured website. None of us need to worry about matters like this. Been a subscriber for so many years.

    • Meghan Medina

Me too, seen a loyal subscriber and they really protect you from spam.

  4. I’m so glad I read this because I didn’t know that Urbanette also holds contests. Thanks!!

  5. Vanessa Peden

There are websites out there who literally sell phone numbers to spam companies. It’s insane. I have a habit of subscribing to websites because I love reading online but it causes problems most of the time. I get surprised about calls that I didn’t know where they got my number from. It’s really annoying already and I feel like it’s no longer safe to do things online.

  6. Carolyn Ford

I’m subscribed to Urbanette and I know they’re safe. I don’t really receive anything suspicious from them.

  7. Aww I wanna join the contests. I heard you can win handbags here.?

  8. I don’t normally read this because I don’t really learn much, plus I’m too lazy. Haha!

  9. Madison Doyle

It’s great that you’re very transparent with what you do with the data you collect from users. It also encourages safe browsing in your site and that we don’t feel like our privacy is being invaded. Thank you so much for all the information you listed here. It make us feel safe that our data is protected and not used anywhere else other than for your marketing research. This is why I love this site a lot. There’s a great relationship between readers and the magazine itself.

    • Kelly Obsborne

Of course, Urbanette isn’t like any other websites out there that only wants to phish information.

  10. Keely Morgan

Been joining contests here for ages but I haven’t won at all. Oh well, luck isn’t on my side.
